Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt and grease.
- Remove any loose or flaking material
- Rub down sound glossy paint surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly
- Prime bare timber and metal surfaces with an appropriate Johnstone's Trade primer
- Allow radiators to cool before painting
- Seal absorbent surfaces with a solution of up to 1 part water to 4 parts Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Matt
Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results
- Stir thoroughly before use to ensure the paint is completely mixed
- Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Matt paint can be applied by brush, roller or sprayer
- Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
Aftercare & Storage
Store the paint in dry conditions and protect from extremes of temperature.
After use firmly secure the lid and store in a secure upright position.
