Overview
Polyvine Multi-Surface Lacquer is a highly durable, "crystal" clear finish that is ideal for application to a wide range of non-porous surfaces including laminate, timber surfaces, tile, ceramic, glass and plastics. It dries to an ultra hard, high quality, sandable coating with a gloss, satin or dead flat finish. It can be used in interior and exterior applications due to its hard and durable finish which is water, stain and heat resistant.

Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean and free from grease, wax and polish.
- Remove oils/resins from timber, sand to a smooth finish and remove all dust.
- Test finish for adhesion.
- When applied over emulsion/latex paint, it is possible that the lacquer can draw certain stains through the paint, which would not otherwise be visible.
- Do not apply over uncured oil based paint.
- Do not apply over uncured oils.
- Do not use on uncoated exterior timber
Application
Always test the product on the surface to be painted before embarking on the project to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake.
- Use a good quality synthetic varnish brush.
- Apply evenly using light brush strokes.
- To prime porous surfaces, dilute with 10% water
- Allow the first coat to dry for 2 hours and apply a further 2 coats.

Store in unopened containers in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and extremes of temperature
