Clearcoat still provides a flexible barrier that protects wood from the damaging effects of rain, moisture, and UV light. Ideal for windows, doors, and conservatories as it will expand and contract with your wood.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free from any contaminates which may affect adhesion.
- Degrease any exposed bare timber by wiping with a cloth dampened with methylated spirits.
- Use a scrapper to remove any resinous deposits.
- Fill any minor defects, imperfections, or open joints with .
- Any non-preservative treated softwood timber should be treated with two coats of .
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Supplied ready to use, do not thin.
- Apply using a good quality, long-haired, soft bristle brush, applying in the direction of the wood grain.
- Work well into joints and ensure to pay special attention to tops and bottoms of doors and under cills.
- Allow to dry for 16-24 hours before applying another coat.
