Overview
A premium quality woodstain ideal for protecting exterior softwood and hardwoods. Formulated to offer a highly flexible finish that will resist flaking, cracking, and peeling whilst protecting against UV damage. The high level of water repellency provides long-lasting protection for exterior doors windows and doors.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and dirt free to ensure adhesion.
- Degrease any exposed bare timber by wiping with a cloth dampened with methylated spirits.
- Fill any surface defects, imperfections, or open joints with an appropriate filler such as .
- Only use non-ferrous screws, nails, and fixings.
- Any non-preservative treated softwood timber should be treated with .
- Base Stained Joinery - Lightly abraded in the direction of the grain but do not break the surface coating.
- “Knotting agents” should not be used with Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain.
Application
We recommend always following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Supplied ready to use, do not thin.
- It is recommended to apply one coat of prior to application of Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain.
- For best results use a long-haired, soft bristle brush.
- Pay special attention to end grain, tops and bottoms of doors, and undersides of cills. Ensure these areas are fully coated.
- Apply 2 coats, allowing 16-24 hours between coats.
Note: Do not apply if there is a risk of rain or if temperatures are below 8°C and above 25°C.
